The Blue Cross Neutering Grant!

Blue Cross – Neutering Grant Scheme!
We are now working alongside the Blue Cross allowing our clients to benefit from their neutering scheme.

The Blue Cross provide a ‘neutering grant’ for client’s on eligible benefits, where they contribute a set amount to the cost of your pet’s neutering. This includes:

Male/female dogs: £50 contribution
Male/female cats: £25
Male/female rabbits: £25

You as a client are required to contribute the remaining neutering fee. This should be paid when collecting your pet after surgery, however we do require a non-refundable £20 deposit when booking your pets operation.

Eligible benefits include:
Housing Benefit
Council Tax Benefit
Income Support
Working Tax Credit
Job Seekers Allowance (Income Based)
Pension Credit
Income Based Employment & Support Allowance
Universal Credit

PLEASE NOTE: The Blue Cross accept Bull breeds without an eligible benefit, meaning you do not have to receive one of the above benefits to receive this grant. This includes Staffordshire bull terriers, other bull breeds or bull x breeds.

In order to qualify for a neutering voucher, you will need a copy of proof of benefits & a recent copy of a utility bill or bank statement to confirm address along with your full name, full address including post code, contact telephone number, animals name, animal species & sex. This information needs to be e-mailed, faxed or posted to the following:

E-mail: [email protected]
Fax: 03007771989
Postal address:
Service Delivery Administration
Blue Cross Head Office
Shilton Road
OX18 4PF

Once the Blue Cross receive your information, then they will issue a neutering voucher and send it out to you via post.

Once you have received your voucher, please bring it in to the surgery with photographic ID where we can then take your deposit and book your pet’s surgery.

We would like to ensure clients that we still use the Dog’s Trust Neutering Scheme and Cats Protection League, however we feel this scheme will benefit those on benefits who’s dog breeds are no longer on the Dog’s Trust list of eligible breeds.

For more information on this scheme please contact us on 01670457271 or The blue Cross directly on 03007771988.
