About Us

St Clair Veterinary Care opened in July 2012 following the closure of St Clair Pet Care, which originally started as a neutering clinic many years ago. Originally located on Croft road in Blyth, St Clair expanded rapidly over years, welcoming several vets and veterinary nurses to join the team. In 2015, the owner of St Clair purchased a local historic building which had been left in disrepair. The building was then transformed into a custom built veterinary hospital, and in September 2018 St Clair Veterinary Care moved to their new premises; The Steamboat on Bridge Street.

Offering a vast range of veterinary care including digital radiography and ultrasonography, surgical and dental treatment, laboratory work and an extensive list of consultation services, St Clair is a well equipped and professionally ran practice. Being a passionate training centre, St Clair have trained several student veterinary nurses and auxiliary nurses over the years as well as playing a proud part in the local community of Blyth. Finally, and most importantly, the team at St Clair have a passion for animals and care for every pet like they are their own.
